The Desert of Lop - Desert
of Lop, also known as Lop Nur or Lop Nor, was once a large saltwater
lake in the SE Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. Now a
desert, its wildlife is threatened by gold miners, new roads and the

Endangered Animal News -
Read about endangered animals and learn how you can help save these
precious creatures. At Wild Heart Ranch we encourage kids to become
involved in animal conservation by helping anyway they can, and to
try and make a difference in the animal world. We all need to
remember that all life is interconnected and if we allow wild
animals to vanish from our midst, then we too may face the same
fate.

The Last Wild Camels: Camels have aided man throughout history
having been domesticated thousands of years ago. To this day they play a
vital role in helping man survive in some of the remotest places on the
planet. Known as "the ship of the desert", they are superbly
adapted to the harshest conditions imaginable and mainly associated in
people's minds with stifingly hot, dry deserts.
