Sassy
By Ashley Sword, age 9
We once
had a strong young horse named Sassy. She had two foals while she was
alive. The first one she had in her life was a colt we named Mr. Attitude.
The second one was a filly that we named Prize. Prize was a sorrel filly
and Mr.Attitude was a bay colt. We sold Mr. Attidude to our neighbors
who like him very much and Prize to a man from Alberta. We didn't sell
Sassy. We would never sell Sassy because she was going to be my horse
because she was very gentle and loved to run, she liked pony club too.
I miss her. One night she got colic and we had to call the vet to help
her but he couldn't help her and had to put her to sleep. We all cried
but we will always be together even though she's gone, I will never
forget her. Never
