Wild Horse Reward Fund set up
With the Swan Beach wild horse shooting in late December 2005, the Corolla Wild Horse Fund is continuing a reward fund to lead to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved with the shootings.
The original fund was established in November 2001 after several wild horses and a mule were shot in the Carova Beach area.
The fund's current balance is $8,576.
Anyone wishing to add to the reward fund can make a deposit into the CWHF Reward Fund at any Bank of Currituck location.
In addition, funds may be mailed directly to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund.
