Foal Gallery: Sashay

This mare and filly are owned by trainer Sandy Alexander. Calais, the mare, is from the lineage of Fantast, a paternal brother of Big Ben, the famous show jumper. She is also related to our mascot, Accolade.

The filly has apparently established herself as a lead mare even at this young age, and dominates her mother as well as the leader of all the brood mares. She walks softly amongst them with a ghost horse presence, with her uniquely defined face and her soft dun coat. There is something special in her that even the herd can sense.
